Hazor Excavation in Area M under the direction of Dr. Amnon Ben Tor. During the 2010 season we uncovered a large platform with a grand staircase. We found many artifacts including a cuneiform tablet, multiple ovens, and pillers. The ultimate goal is to find the Hazor Library as the site is mentioned in both the Amarna Letters from Egypt as well at the Mari Library in ancient Syria. We also did some conservation work on one of the gate wing walls under the direction of Dr. Orna Cohen.
